Welcome to the EITC Website!
According to the Internal Revenue Service, in 2003 only about 22% of Manchester residents who COULD claim the Earned Income Tax Credit DID.
In 2008, the Manchester Tax Credit Coalition is continuing its campaign to have all eligible Town citizens claim the Earned Income Tax Credit.

The EITC is a tax benefit for working people with low or moderate incomes. Workers who qualify for the EITC, and file a federal tax return, can have some or all of the federal income tax that was taken out of thier pay during the year refunded to them.
