TOWN OF MANCHESTER SMALL BUSINESS NIGHTS
Are you planning to start, relocate or expand a small business?
The Town of Manchester is pleased to announce the initiation of “Small Business Nights” on Thursday nights from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lincoln Center, second floor, 494 Main Street.
These evenings are set aside to help small business owners plan for and navigate the government regulations related to your land, building and space needs. At 5:00 p.m. the planning department offices will reopen for the specific purpose of meeting with prospective small business owners and entrepreneurs, or current small business owners, who would like to take time to talk through the various local building code, engineering, health, fire or planning and zoning regulations that need to be addressed so that businesses can accurately plan their opening/reopening or expansion.
The hours between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday nights are intentionally informal and will be staffed to be able to provide answers to most local regulatory questions and provide guidance on the processes, time frames and fees so that small business folks have the fewest surprises and are armed with the best knowledge during the application process. Walk-in traffic is welcome, but if small business owners find it helpful feel free to call (860) 647-3044 and make a Thursday evening appointment to ensure the time and attention that your small business deserves and that necessary expertise is available.
