2008 Water Main Replacement Project
Metra Industries, contractor for the Town of Manchester Water Department’s 2008 Water Main Replacement Project, will begin work in the Wetherell Street/Packard Street area on Monday, September 15, 2008. The streets included in the project are listed below. It is anticipated that the work will proceed in the order indicated.
- Packard Street
- Server Street
- Horace Street
- Wetherell Street
- Litchfield Street
- Avon Street
- Portland Street
- Bridge Street
Normal work hours will be from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Weather permitting, the 2008 portion of the project is expected to be completed by late November.
Motorists should expect lane closures and delays during construction.
