2007 Storm Drainage Project

The contractor for the 2007 Storm Drainage Project has resumed work.  This year’s work will consist of completing the Birch Mountain/Coop Saw Mill portion of the project at which time he will proceed to Irving Street.  The Irving Street portion of the project consists of the installation of new drainage between Congress Street and Homestead Street.  Individual notifications will be sent out to those properties directly affected by the project.

Normal work hours will be from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Weather permitting, the 2008 portion of the project is expected to be completed by the middle of June.  Motorists should expect lane closures and delays during construction.
