Connecticut Health Foundation

The CT Health Foundation funded a community planning project for Manchester and 11 other communities from Jan 2008-June 2009. A Planning Team, made up of representatives from the Youth Service Bureau, Nathan Hale School, Community Child Guidance Clinic, Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester Police Department, and parents, spent 18 months on the "Chance for Change" planning project focusing on Nathan Hale School. The plan addresses ways to keep kids at Nathan Hale between ages 6 and 11 out of the juvenile justice system and/or the intensive mental health system. For more information click the here.
