Sharon is the Early Childhood Specialist. Her position is unique in that she works partially for the Town and partially for the Board of Education. She oversees the Town's early childhood grants and acts a liaison between the Town, the Board of Education, and the private early care and education providers in Manchester. She arranges professional development workshops for preschool and kindergarten teachers, parenting programs, and programs for young children.
Sharon has been working for the Town of Manchester for a little over a year. Before coming to Manchester, she was the Director of Ashford Youth Services Bureau for 7 years.
Sharon has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and a Bachelor of Art's Degree in Psychology from Siena College.
Sharon enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, and skiing.
