Block Watches throughout Manchester

The Manchester Police Department would like to notify all residents that due to the recent success of the Town Watch event, the following block watches throughout Manchester are being combined, effective June 2009.

• Meadowbrook Area
• Waddell Area
• Strant Street Area
• St. John Area
• West Side Area
• Bunce Drive Area

Meetings for the above mentioned block watches will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Manchester Senior Center at 6:30pm.  We welcome new members to join our current members to learn about their respective neighborhoods in town. 

The following is a list of block watches for the remainder of 2009:

            July 8, 2009

            August 12, 2009

            September 9, 2009

            October 14, 2009

             November 11, 2009

            December 9, 2009

Green Manor will continue to hold their own meetings on the 3rd (third) Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm and it will be at the Manchester Police Department in the Community Room.

Spruce Street will also continue to hold their own meetings on the 1st (first) Thursday of each month at 7 pm and it will be held at Nathan Hale School in the cafeteria.
