SIDEWALK EXTENSIONS AT GREEN ROAD, WOODBRIDGE STREET, MATHER STREET AND OAKLAND STREET

Morias Concrete Service, Inc. has been contracted by the Public Works Department for the Town’s 2008 Sidewalk Extension Project.  The project started in the Fall of 2008 and was shut down for the winter.  Work began in the Mather Street/Woodbridge Street area last Fall and the Contractor will be complete this area when he returns on or about April 6, 2009.  Upon completion of the Mather Street/Woodbridge Street area, the Contractor will move on to the Green Road/Oakland Street portion of the project.

Normal work hours will be from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  Weather permitting, the project is expected to be substantially completed by late November 2009 with the possibility of some final surface restoration carrying over to the Spring of 2010. 

Motorists should expect lane closures and delays during construction.
