GREEN MANOR NEIGHBORHOOD SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT- Freitas Construction, Inc. of Ludlow, Massachusetts has been contracted by the Public Works Department for the purpose of removing and replacing sidewalks for Phase 1 of the Green Manor Neighborhood Sidewalk Replacement Project.  The streets involved in the first phase are Barry Road (west of Dorothy), Saulters Road (north of Barry), Willard Road (Barry to Saulters), Coleman Road (Barry to Lydall), Fenwick Road (Coleman to Lydall), Bonner Road (Barry to Coleman), Dorothy Road (Barry to Coleman), Constance Drive (Level to Barry) and Level Road (Elizabeth to Constance).   

The Contractor is scheduled to begin work on or about August 10, 2009.  Work will begin in the area adjacent to the Buckley School in an effort to complete this portion of the project prior to commencement of the 2009/2010 school year.  Normal work hours will be from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.   It is estimated that the project will be completed around the end of October 2009.  Some final surface restoration will carry over to the Spring of 2010.
