Homeowners tax relief program:

This program is open to qualified homeowners who are age 65 as of Dec. 2008, or Social Security disabled; The application dates are 2/1/2009 through 5/15/2009. Application can be made weekdays from 8:20 AM to 4:40 PM at the Office of Assessment & Collection in Town Hall, 41 Center St. Income limits apply, and proof of your Calendar Year 2008 income is required. A presentation and informational session regarding the Homeowner's Program and other benefits available to senior taxpayers will be held at the Manchester Senior Center on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM.
