Renters Rebate:
The State of Connecticut, Office of Policy & Management, Renters Rebate Program:
Senior, Adult and Family Services, Town of Manchester, 479 Main Street will be completing applications for this program starting May 15th and continuing through September 17th, which is the deadline for this year’s program. Appointments can be scheduled starting May 1st by calling 860-647-3096. This program provides a one -time yearly payment to renters based on income, rent and utilities that were paid from the previous year (2011). Applicants must be age 65 or over by 12/31/11 or be permanently and totally disabled as defined by Social Security and at least 18 years of age by 12/31/11. Information is available online:
