Applications for the Senior Homeowner’s Program, and Additional Veteran’s Program must be filed by May 15, 2012, in order for qualifying seniors to receive their property tax credits.

To qualify, taxpayers must be over age 65 by December 2011, or be 100% Social Security disabled. Taxpayers must own a home and must provide documentation listing their 2011 income to the Office of Assessment & Collection with a completed application. The maximum income for qualifying seniors (or disabled) taxpayers for this year is $32,300 for unmarried, and $39,500 for married.
