Town Taxes Due:

Tax bills were mailed on June 26, 2008.  The Manchester Tax Collector’s Office reminds residents that current tax payments are due by 6:00pm on Friday August 1, 2008. Current taxes include Motor Vehicle tax bills, and the first installment for Real Estate and Personal Property. Failure to make timely payments will subject taxpayers to an interest charge of 1.5% per month from the July 1, 2008 due date. Minimum interest charge is $2.00. If paying late call the Tax office at 860-647-3018 for the correct amount due. Please note that there is no mailing for the second installment for Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills. Both payment coupons are included with the bill mailed in June. Please save your receipts for income tax purposes. You may reach the Tax office at 647-3018. For Real Estate assessment questions call 647-3016, Personal Property assessment questions call 647-3015, and Motor Vehicle assessment questions call 647-3017. Fax number is 647-3099.  The office of Assessment and Collection will be opened Monday-Friday from 8:20 am to 4:40 pm.
