PROJECT: Taylor Street Reconstruction

The Town of Manchester will begin a project to reconstruct Taylor Street in Manchester between Tolland Turnpike (State Route 30) and the Vernon town line. The work includes the widening of the roadway to a consistent width of 28’, the adjusting of the vertical profile in certain areas to improve sightline, the installation of storm drainage systems and other appurtenant work.
During normal work hours (Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), traffic will be restricted using alternating one-way traffic control using flagmen. Delays can be expected during this time and drivers are recommended to seek alternate routes.
