NEW LOCATION FOR WATER & SEWER PERMITS

At the end of the day on Friday, November 17, 2006, the Permit Section of the Town of Manchester Water and Sewer Department will be moving to the 2nd floor of Lincoln Center located at 494 Main Street.  As of the opening of business on Monday, November 20, 2006, you will be able to find us at the customer service counter in the Maps and Records Office – Room 207.  The move is the first step of an overall Engineering reorganization that is intended to provide a more consolidated response to our customers needs.  Below is a list of services that will now be provided at our new location.

• Issuance of Water and Sewer Permits
• Engineering information relative to Water and Sewer Facilities (e.g. maps, records, service connections, etc.)
• Signoffs for Certificates of Occupancy
• Hydrant flow test scheduling and information
• Research for assessments

The following services will still be provided at the Water Treatment Plant located at 125 Spring Street.  To make arrangements for these services please contact the Water Department dispatcher at 647-3201.

•   Pickup and return of hydrant meters
•   Pickup of meter spacers
•   Scheduling of meter installations
