PROJECT:  WEST SIDE II WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

PROJECT DURATION: Monday, August 7 through Friday, August 11, 2006, From 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM each day

The Town of Manchester has retained Ludlow Construction, Inc. to replace the water main at the above listed intersection. The proposed work is part of the West Side II Water Main Replacement Project, and is being done as part of the overall Town Wide Water Quality Improvement Program.

The work includes the installation of 220 linear feet of new 16” cement lined ductile iron pipe.  This will result in improved water quality, increased fire flows and more efficient overall operation of the water system.

The work necessary for the installation of the new water main will cause some disruption of normal driving patterns at this intersection and in the vicinity.  Town police officers will be used for traffic control during the work hours.  Please be advised that the Town and the Contractor will make every effort to keep inconveniences to an absolute minimum.
