Free history walk
at Buckland Cemetery at 5:30 p.m. Ruth Shapleigh-Brown, Executive Director of the Connecticut Gravestone Network, will lead this one-hour walk with commentary about the gravestones and cemetery. Rain or shine. Participants should drive into the cemetery toward the left back and park carefully along the narrow road. "Luv My Pet" Day, 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m. at the firehouse at 75 Center Street. Dog licensing, rabies vaccinations and other routine shots will be available. All pet owners are encouraged to license their pet that day. Dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be brought in carriers. This event is open to the general public and not exclusive to Manchester
