with Teresa LaBarbera!

Welcome to the
Manchester Challenge Course

The Manchester Challenge Course is a series of physical activities and challenges used for personal and group development. Through these activities, group members increase their self-confidence, communication, problem solving and decision making skills as well as leadership abilities. Groups will develop increased levels of trust and bonds between members will be strengthened.

The Manchester Challenge Course provides opportunities for individuals to choose their level of challenge within a safe and supportive environment. Course programs consist of three main components:

Games and Initiatives

These activities range from icebreakers and anime games to tag games and eventually complex mental and physical challenges and trust activities. These activities have the potential to transform your group into a highly functioning, supportive team.

Low Elements

The Low Elements are a series of team challenges generally only a few feet above ground level. These activities further develop the supportive team environment necessary for success while allowing the group to build their confidence for higher levels of risk.

High Elements

The High Elements provide the opportunities for members to overcome fears and perceived limitations. These activities culminate 25 to 40 feet off the ground. With the perceived risk far out-weighing the actual risk, members are afforded the opportunity to overcome fears and self-imposed limits.

All programs are custom designed to meet each client's specific needs and may involve any or all of these three components.

“As a staff member, it was awesome to see the kids who were nervous and had reservations of climbing up and conquering and overcoming their fears.  The smiles on their faces of personal achievements and accomplishments were priceless!  Program was fantastic! Couldn’t have asked for anything better!”

“Thank you so much! I am already getting "Thank You" emails from my kids/parents. We really enjoyed it.”
